Apo B is a protein that is involvzed in the metabolism of lipids and is the main protein of lipoproteins, commonly known as the "bad cholesterol".

Apolipoprotein B (APO B) has been reported to be a powerful indicator of CAD, Coronary Artery Disease. In some patients with CAD, Coronary Artery Disease, APO B is elevated even in the presence of normal LDL cholesterol.
